Interviews

Just wanted to keep everyone posted. I am still jobless, however hopefully I will have a interview this week in Shreveport and I will have a interview in Arlington, TX next week. So, we will see what happens. God knows what will happen and that's all that I know!!

Jason is in San Antonio,TX in flight school. He has already been there a week and is going on his second week. The first week was a lot of gruelling lectures all day long, and started in the simulator last week. This week is classroom and simulator. Jason and Brent are both tired and their brains are mush. I know they both will be glad when it's over. They are training for the Citation III (I believe that's the right one).

I will keep you all posted. Love you!!

"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze." Isaiah 43:2

Change

Hello Everyone, I know it has been a while. Well most of you know, I no longer work at Horseshoe, me and about 15 others. So, this past week I have just been sending out resumes and emails and just kind of soaking it all in. I have been praying for an opportunity come a long for a new job or open door. Well, here we go, I wanted to have a job first, before moving on, however, God didn't want it to go down like that. So, now I have been living everyday one step at a time, trusting that he is in control and that "God is always on time"! I will be sending you all my new cell number. The old number that most of you have, 318.218.8850, no longer works. Well it works, but I'm not the one answering it!!!!! So, I will be writing you guys back soon! Love you all! I will keep you all posted!!!

Love,

Tabby

Posting something different today! Below, you will see the lyrics of one of my favorite songs, "My Jesus".. It's actually the second song on my "play list", song list that you hear when you access my page. FYI- by the way, you will see a list of songs, that you can choose to play, (just click on the name of the song on the list) they are just a few of many favorites. Of course, the first one is "My Redeemer" which starts each time you first access my page. I just thought I would post the words to this song, so that you all can read it. A lot of times, we get all caught up in the words of a song, and if we would just read it, word for word, sometimes, I know I do, understand it better and it really sinks in.

My Jesus -Todd Agnew

Which Jesus do you follow?Which Jesus do you serve?
If Ephesians says to imitate Christ
Then why do you look so much like the world?
Cause my Jesus bled and died
He spent His time with thieves and liars
He loved the poor and accosted the arrogant
So which one do you want to be?

Blessed are the poor in spirit
Or do we pray to be blessed with the wealth of this land
Blessed are they that hunger and thirst for righteousness
Or do we ache for another taste of this world of shifting sand
Cause my Jesus bled and died for my sins
He spent His time with thieves and sluts and liars
He loved the poor and accosted the rich
So which one do you want to be?
Who is this that you follow
This picture of the American dream
If Jesus was here would you walk right by on the other side or fall down and worship at His holy feet

Pretty blue eyes and curly brown hair and a clear complexion
Is how you see Him as He dies for Your sins
But the Word says He was battered and scarred
Or did you miss that part
Sometimes I doubt we'd recognize Him
Cause my Jesus bled and died
He spent His time with thieves and the least of these
He loved the poor and accosted the comfortable
So which one do you want to be?

Cause my Jesus would never be accepted in my church
The blood and dirt on His feet might stain the carpet
But He reaches for the hurting and despises the proudI think
He'd prefer Beale St. to the stained glass crowd
And I know that He can hear me if I cry out loud

I want to be like my Jesus!
I want to be like my Jesus!
I want to be like my Jesus!
I want to be like my Jesus!

Not a posterchild for American prosperity, but like my Jesus
You see I'm tired of living for success and popularity
I want to be like my Jesus but I'm not sure what that means to be like You
JesusCause You said to live like You, love like You but then You died for me
Can I be like You Jesus?I want to be like you Jesus!I want to be like my Jesus!

Jason's parents came down from Wellston, Oklahoma, near Shawnee, Oklahoma to go to the Gaither Homecoming Concert and to meet my parents. We all ready had a great time and I enjoyed everyone's company. Please come back to visit, I love company!!!!!

The other pictures that I have posted is our trip to the Texas State Fair, this was Jason and my second year to go to the State Fair. We arrived about noon and left around 7:30p, we walked ALOT, more than we did last year. We did not ride anything, I cannot take all those spinning, round and round, rides. Last year, we rode the huge Farris Wheel, but this year we went to all the exhibits, Markets, Dog Show, Bird Show, Auto Show, Museum's, Science and Nature Exhibit, and walked by the Butterfly Garden. Did I mention, we ate and ate, lots of Fair food: Pizza, Corny dogs, nachos, pizza and yes, the famous Fried Cookie Dough (picture below). The weather was nice and we really enjoyed ourselves, well, Jason looks like we this might be a yearly event! :) Well, I will go for now, until next time love you all!!

Blaire's Wedding -Oct 4th

Well, I have not sent a blog in a while, so I thought you might all would like to see some pics from Blaire's wedding. I cannot believe that my little cousin is married, wow, how time flies. I remember when she use to come out "to the country" and stay with us. When she was little, she use to sleep all over the bed, with her knees tucked up under her, now she is all grown up and married. Best wishes and lots of love.

This coming weekend, Jason and his parents will be visiting from Oklahoma. This will be the first time that our parents meet, I'm excited! Friday night, we will be going to the "Gaither Homecoming Tour" in Bossier, yeaaaa! Cannot wait, I'm sure I may have some pics to share later. Until then, Love you all! I will leave everyone with a verse to ponder on:
