Turnbull's Thanksgiving 2009

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, Jason and I spent Thanksgiving in Prague, Oklahoma, East of Oklahoma City. We had a great time at his Aunt's house and the food was delicious! We had a short visit, because Jason had to come back for a flight on Saturday, as always....Here is a few pictures from our Visit! The Family!

Weekend at Tabby's

Mom came to visit me this weekend, because next week I will be going with Jason to have Thanksgiving with the Turnbull's. Christmas, Jason and I will be the the Glass family! Of course, I took several pictures of the girl's. Mia is finally around the same height as Macy, and this weekend they actually played together, of course, only when Macy wanted to! So, I thought I would post a pictures.

Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and look forward to seeing all of you soon!

Oct Flood 2009

I thought I would post just a few picture I took last Thursday when all the craziness was going on here. There was three tornadoes...I was stuck on an assignment while huddling in a hall way as they tell us that the tornado is heading towards the airport eeek. I was able to leave around 5pm, then to hear two seperate tornadoes had touched down in Benton Road and Haughton. Benton Road is street over from my street, Bossier's Auto Mall was hit and some other subdivisions near by and Haughton was hit. Saturday north Bossier Area was flooding and they were having a voluntary evacuation. Bayou Dorcheat and Red Chute Bayou was flooding. It's crazy. Below is just a few pics of my back and front yard and some Red River snap shots. The water did not damage anything, I lifted Jason's weed eatter, my christmas tree and some other things and the lawn mower is safe, the water was high but not high enough to get in the motor. The water came up in the shed

A different view...

You can hardly see, but this is the front yard, the water was up over the side walk making it's way to my yard.

Look at my fence in the background, you hardly can see the top of the fence.

Here is the Red River coming of the banks off of Arthur Teague

The water is next to the road and the bike and walking trails are under water.
