Flower bed and the New Lawn mower!

I have not posted in while, not much really going on. I have been really busy at the Deaf Action Center, interpreting all day many days, and I'm also taking a on-line study class to prepare for my Written Knowledge portion for my certification. The class is really intense, 2 to 4 hrs a day or night, researching and answering questions. So not a lot of time to do much! Well, recently my lawn mower "blew up" broke and could not get it to start. So, I had to go buy a new one, just want I wanted to spend my money on. I bought it from Sears, a Craftsman. It's really nice, I didn't have enough money to buy a self propelled, but this one is really nice ( u can c below). I have also added some recent pics of my flowers and sunflowers (the sun is hard on my flowers)Hope everyone is enjoying their HOT summer. Last night, here in Bossier City, it was a 100 degrees at 8pm, I cannot believe it has been so hot! Hope you all have a great week, love you all and talk to you soon!

Birthday Dinner

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Just wanted to post some recent pictures from this past weekend. Jason took me to Bob's Steak and Chop House, a very Nice Steak house in Ft Worth for my birthday. It was very good, I had a T-Bone Steak, ummm good, they had this cool cooked whole carrot and baked potatoe, ummm. Pops and Ms. Jean it was very good, but Cattleman's T-Bone is still #1. Well, hope you all are having a great week.

30th Birthday

Though I would post all my the pics taken this past weekend! Well of course most of you know, my 30th bday was Saturday. I cannot believe this was my 30th, my 20's are gone, ummm. Well, my 30's will be the best years yet!! This weekend, Jake and Dad boiled some fresh south Louisiana shrimp, ummmmm, they were so good. Dad bought 50lbs, but we boiled about 12lbs for all of us and had some left over. I have some pics below.

I also posted some pics of the Blue berry picking event. I wanted to post some of these for Mr John and Ms Jean Turnbull. There are plenty more to be picked.... I brought some home for myself and for some friends. I gave my neighbors some, he is a chef, and he cooked a peach/blue berry cobbler right away and gave me some, it was D-elicious!!! Hope you all had a great weekend and thanks for all the Birthday wishes!!!

Our Trip to Six Flags

This past weekend, Jason and I went to Six Flags, my first time. It was fun and I love getting myself all siked up for the rides. I was a little nervous, because I had not been on rides since my passing out problems had developed , so a little skeptical about how my body would react. But, everything was great! I did get a little sick on one ride, Mr. Freeze, it starts off 70 mph and we had just ate about a hour before. We had a great time!

Titan, this was so fast and Jason made us ride in the front, I was scared to death, but had a blast.

Jason navigating our trip with the Six Flags Map, which was hard to understand.

BATMAN - this was a blast...

Mr. Freeze - the one that starts out 0 to 70mph, the ride only lasted 2 minutes, this one kind of made me sick.

Jason wanted to make sure I was tall enough for the Batman...heheheh :)

Trying to take pics, I sometimes miss Jason, he so tall.

If you will notice this pic is full of facts: from bottom of pic - Texas Giant (ride), Titan (ride), Rangers Baseball field, and the New Cowboys Stadium.
